George Quainoo Duncan was called to the Ghana Bar in 2007, after attaining a BSC Degree in Accounting and Administration from the University of Ghana Business School and a combined LLB and Certificate in Law from the Ghana School of Law. In addition to being Solicitor and Barrister of the Supreme Court of Ghana, he has served as a Master Tax Advisor and Certified Enrolled Agent of the United States of America Internal Revenue Service, with specialization in tax and accounting software such as QuickBooks and Blockworks.
His work has cut across independent inquiries into the financial affairs of clients, financial compliance, audits, evaluation of corporate management processes; the provision of legal advice on taxation, commercial contracts, banking and investment as well as the preparation of institutional and individual tax returns. In these capacities, his work has been primarily within the corporate sectors of Ghana and the United States, where he has held various roles at KPMG, Agricultural Development Bank, Kingdom Books and Stationery, Hesse & Hesse Law Firm, and H&R Block.
George is currently leading on compiling the firm’s flagship publication on Access to Justice in Ghana.
