The Firm

Duncan & Duncan Law Trust was founded by George Quainoo Duncan and Beatrice Akua Abrekna Duncan who, together bring a combined total of over 60 years of experience in banking, taxation and human rights and rule of law advisory services in various organizations at national, regional and global levels.

The Firm achieves justice for all of its clients through a strategic convergence of law, human rights and development, guided by the national laws of Ghana, as well as the country’s regional and global human rights commitments.

We lead in making sure that the law works and the wheels of justice turn in favour of the individuals, communities and corporate institutions that we work for through a methodological and meticulous work ethos.

We prioritize litigation avoidance through a stronger focus on advisory services, settlements and Alternative Dispute Resolution.

Interjurisdictional

We believe that the law exists in a broader policy and practice environment and therefore deploy an interjurisdictional approach to case management through regular collaboration with seasoned legal and non-legal subject matter experts in Ghana and other jurisdictions such as Canada, UK and USA.

Multilingual

We are multilingual. We currently provide services in English, Arabic and French and strive to meet our client’s linguistic needs.
